If you haven't had time yet, it's time now to use the Answer Keys to self-correct your Reading Sheets that were assigned for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Audible has made many of their audiobooks for children available for free online. You can listen on your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone.
Audible Audiobooks Don't have your Swiss Family Robinson? Listen on YouTube here: Swiss Family Robinson Well done! You made it to the end of the week.
Thank you for sending me your assignments to correct. If you still have any exercises outstanding, please send them to me over the weekend. Take a break this weekend. You deserve it! Good morning parents and students,
You should have received the two emails I have sent so far - one on Sunday evening and one yesterday morning. As you work this week, remember to use the notes and guidelines sent home for both the Grammar and Poetry. Take your time and work carefully. Please email your Grammar sheets back to me either daily or by the end of the week. Email your Poetry, when you are able to complete it, to Mrs. Zakour. To bring you up to date
I sent an email yesterday with a package of L. Arts work for the week and the instructions. This morning, I sent the notes which will guide the Grammar and a Poetry package to be completed during the course of the week. Note: Please see below for the Vocabulary. Have a good day. Stay safe! Dear Parents,
Please look out for an email from me today with a package for your child for the week. I will include instructions in the email and any follow-up instructions here. I will send any necessary tutorials/notes via email that your child can use to support the learning at home. Regards, Miss Robinson Things to do to pass the time at home, aside from reading of course:
1. Use the DVD that you got with the CIR Reading book, if you have it with you. There are many interactive games to play on it. Have fun! 2. Play a board game. 3. Write a poem or a story. 4. Watch a Grammar video that I posted above. 5. Build a jigsaw puzzle. 6. Watch a movie with the Captions on. (Why not try it with the sound off.) 7. Go outside in the garden and play: ride your bike, skip rope, use your water blaster/super soaker, blow bubbles, have fun with your pets. 8. Draw a Treasure Map (for your home or garden) and then hide the 'treasure'. Have someone at home try to follow the clues to find the 'loot'! 9. Do you have any seeds at home? Plant some vegetables or herbs or even some flowers. 10. Get out your paints or coloured pencils and bring out your artistic side. Produce your "Work of Art"! |
